FILTRIX DEMO
Running Filtrix in demo mode is used to demonstrate
the conversion capabilities of Filtrix to those who have not yet purchased
a license. The converted documents and graphics contain intentional
alterations designed to prevent unauthorized use of
Filtrix. The
alterations are such that the overall integrity of the document is
maintained. Although the demo process preserves text formatting and
layout, it scrambles the spelling of the words. This is an
intentional part of the demo product. Likewise, the assorted
graphics processors will intentionally add demo markers to the
images.
Filtrix Windows demos are downloaded in this mode. When you
purchase a license, you will be given a password to allow you to download
and run the licensed version of Filtrix.
Filtrix-UNIX demos run this
way when a license is not available on the local host. If you have a
license and Filtrix-UNIX only runs in demo mode, a license may be in use
or locked by another user. See Administrative Tools in the
Filtrix manual (you may download the PDF version) for
more information.
